The location of the hotel was fantastic, with breathtaking views of the nearby canyon. It was also conveniently close to the canyon, making it easy to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of the area. the staff at the hotel were friendly and the food was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices for all dietary preferences. the hotel had a souvenir shop and a bar serving alcohol, providing convenience and entertainment options.
One of the drawbacks of the hotel was its size, which sometimes made it feel impersonal due to the large number of guests it catered for. Another inconvenience was the distance between the parking area and the rooms, which made it a bit of a hassle to transport luggage.

The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The semi-detached stone bungalows were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The buffet dinners were delicious, especially the meat options, and there was a good variety of choices for breakfast. The staff, especially Charles and Malencia, were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We also appreciated the hiking trails starting from the lodge, allowing us to explore the area easily.
The internet connection was unreliable during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, we found that the staff lacked information on the local walks, making it difficult for us to plan our activities.

The lodge had stunning and jaw-dropping views! The challets were clean and offered beautiful vistas. Waiter Alex was incredible, going above and beyond to help us find another overnight place for the next day. The location was absolutely perfect for visiting the Canyon, just a short drive away. The staff, especially Charles and Malencia, were caring and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the free Sunset walk and the Canyon drive, which included some amazing extras. The lodge had a rustic and original charm, with hand-painted walls and unique architecture. The restaurant staff was very helpful, and the food was above average. a super and mind-blowing experience!

The location of the hotel was truly breathtaking, with stunning desert beauty and amazing views. the cottages were clean and nicely designed, offering beautiful views of the surroundings. the staff was friendly and welcoming, assisting us with our bags and providing excellent service.
That the dinner at the hotel was quite expensive, especially for South African visitors. as a family of three, it would have been more convenient to have the option to book a triple room instead of two separate rooms.

The rooms at Gondwana Canyon Village are cozy and inviting, with beds draped in mosquito nets that make you feel like you're on a safari adventure. As a family with small kids, we loved the sense of excitement and the protection from pesky bugs.
Personally, I found the electric kettle in the twin room a bit unnecessary. But I understand that some guests may appreciate having this option to make their own beverages.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and excellent hosts, making our stay more enjoyable. The food served at the restaurant was excellent, with a wide variety of options including vegetarian choices. The facilities were also well-appointed, very clean, and creatively decorated, adding to the overall ambiance of the hotel.
The parking was located far away from the chalets, making it quite inconvenient to lug all our belongings over such a long distance on the cobbled paths. the door to our cottage was not properly fitted, resulting in a noisy back and forth movement whenever the wind blew at night.

The friendly staff at Gondwana made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout our stay. They went the extra mile to ensure we felt at home. The setting of the hotel was amazing, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and with a superb view. The pool was excellent, perfect for relaxing. The meals at the restaurant were delicious and the staff there were friendly and attentive. The architecture and theme of the hotel gave it a unique and charming vibe. The free wifi was a bonus, although it would have been even better if it was available in the rooms. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

It would have been nice if there was a more affordable a la carte option for dinner, as the buffet option was quite expensive.

The stunning view of the red rock and mountains in the morning was breathtaking. The staff was really helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The refreshing dip in the pool was a great way to cool off, and the close proximity to the Fish River Canyon was very convenient.
There was no fridge in the room to cool our drinks, although they did offer a fridge at the pool area. The dinner was nice but not the best we had during our travels.
